With our 7th League Season at Hawks FC just finished we are busy arranging a summer of Football at the club and will be playing games, mini tournaments and running our twice weekly coaching sessions.
We are putting together the final touches to our squad and have a couple of spaces at the moment in our under 13s Team called "The Torcida" who are moving into the Under 14s of the Weetabix League in September.
We are on the look out for a goalscorer and a defender who have had experience playing in the local leagues to help us develop and enjoy our style of play. We need committed footballers who can play and train with us regularly. They will need to have a great attitude, and be willing to make friends and learn. We are an experienced and developing team who love to play exciting attacking football. It never boring at Hawks ! It important to us parents fit in with our values which are about Sportmanship and supporting our youngsters in a positive way. Our coaching sessions are on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings in summer and on Fridays nights in autumn and winter. Matches are on Sunday afternoons.
One thing that makes us unique in the local area is we are part of the bigger Kettering Town Sports & Cricket Club which has a rich 100 year history . We have our own fantastic ground which is without doubt one of the nicest in the league. It's a great set up and with a good atmosphere at the club across all the sections (Football, Cricket, Hockey, Tennis, Archery) there are lots of opportunities to try out other sports as well. We even run a Keep fit sessions for all members in the summer.
