Hawks FC is the local Grassroots Football club on the Kettering Leisure Village Estate. We are part of the Kettering Town Sports & Cricket Club where we are based just off Lake Avenue & Northampton Road.
We have some of the best facilities in the area with a superb full sized pitch, Mini Soccer pitches for younger age groups and are one of the only clubs in the town with UEFA standard goals. Our older age group Hawks Torcida under 15 Team play in the Weetabix League and have been together since they were aged 6 and we still have several of the original players.
We have new age groups now at the club with our expanding and exciting Mini Hawks Section for boys or girls from reception ages to Year 1 at school.
Our Under 7 Hawks Ultras Team has a few spaces left in the team for children in Year 2 at school. We want to fill these quickly to get the team in the Weetabix League in early 2019. We are having friendly games now so its a great time to start if you want to get playing.
The Sports club owns its own the picturesque ground were sports has been played since 1885. One of the great things about having our own ground is we can play all year round.There are many other sports on offer at the Sports club such as Archery, Tennis, Hockey and Cricket for children and parents to try and we have a great clubhouse and bar facilities to socialise.
We are one of the largest multi-sports clubs in the county and have over 500 members playing across the range of sports which all have thriving youth sections. Football is relatively new at the club as Hawks were established in 2014 so we want to spread the word. We are also in the process of improving the club facilities.
We are wanting more people from the local area to get involved at the Hawks. If you are a coach wanting to get involved or a parent with football mad kids then we think we offer something a bit different.
We have a great atmosphere which is family friendly and where children are given opportunities to play. We want to do well but we won't compromise on the things that are important to us such as High standards, Sportsmanship, Fair Play & Opportunities to Play. Winning is great but it isn't everything and we are really proud of our club and its values. What we can say is we will go out of our way to help the children have a great time. Success for us is having a great atmosphere at the clubs were young people can enjoy themselves and keep on coming back and bringing friends.
We have a small but passionate coaching team and we encourage our teenagers to help support the younger ages. Our Motto is "More than A Club" as we want to make a difference to young peoples lives. All coaches are fully qualified from Level 2 , plus we have specialist goalkeeping coaches and we have all the FA checks in place for First Aid, Safeguarding and the DBS checks. Hawks FC is a Chartered Standard FA Club.
